Gregory Thomas has been invited to join the OpenAI initiative

The OpenAI Forum is an initiative that brings together experts and outstanding students to discuss and collaborate on the present and future of AI. Prof. Thomas was requested to join and accepted the invitation.

The Forum includes Nobel and Turing Laureates, a Field medalist, researchers excelling in their fields, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, developers, and seasoned practitioners in education, healthcare, public administration, and more.

The Forum is a hub to support AI literacy and promote communication, idea exchange, and engagement in projects that inform the development of human values-informed technology. It also supports OpenAI model evaluations, evaluation set creation, and the Preparedness team's work to ensure the safety of frontier models.
