CAPS school visits KU CDR
CAPS (Center for Advanced Professional Skills) located in Blue Valley MO, recently visited the CDR. Represented by students, Administrators and faculty, CAPS made a presentation to KU administrators and faculty about their program and the desire to have more students go on to attend KU. CAPS is a truly unique high school who’s students “must acquire cutting-edge skills to be successful in the “Innovation Generation.” CAPS represents the collaboration of education, business and community, providing students with a unique, immersive experience, resulting in highly skilled, adaptable, global innovators and leaders.” Mary Ryan, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs | KU Edwards Campus and Gregory Thomas, Design and CDR Director facilitated the meeting for Provost Vitter and representatives of the various schools/departments at KU. It is the hope that some collaboration with CAPS and student acceptance to KU will be in the near future.
