Ford Donates Vehicle

Thursday, December 26, 2013

Ford Motor Company has officially donated a Ford Transit Connect Wagon for research to be conducted by the CDR. Minyang Jiang, Brand Manager, Transit/Transit Connect vehicles at Ford sent a letter of conformation to the CDR Director on December 2, 2013. The request for a vehicle from Ford was to enable research and development on several in-car projects including the WellCar. Ms. Jiang stated, “We have supported this topic with both research and development, and we believe this project is one that fits in with our goals and objectives.” The CDR will take receipt of the vehicle in early February. The CDR wishes to thank Ms. Emily Rosen Olin who played a key role in the granting request.
